Mellow Out in This Modern Luxe Home
Monochrome is more than just the colour choice of black and white, or in shades of grey. In this project of the 5-room home for the family with children, the primary colours are dark wood and creamy white instead, with a hint of bronze and warm light strips as highlight to the coziness.
The monochrome modern luxe theme is a dream come true for the growing family, to accommodate with the differences in needs and lifestyles of various family members. Furnishings in shared spaces such as living and dining rooms are fundamental in creating a functional home, and forging stronger kinships through interactions for the growing family.
Feast and fun-loving times with the family
In order to keep to the demands of a larger sized family, the homeowners opted for Kay quartz rectangular dining table set along with 4 Henry dining chairs and a bench, which can fit up to 7 people at once.
What is best about the Kay quartz stone dining top is how well it flows with the glossy floor tiles. Aside from the aesthetics that we absolutely adore, Kay quartz dining top is an ideal fuss-free solution for its hardwearing qualities which is resistant to scratches, stains and even heat! The man-made solid stone surface of quartz is non-porous and essential for a big family with children, as it is easy in maintenance and very user friendly for everyday use.
Instead of going with the standard fabric upholstery option for Henry dining chairs and bench, synthetic leather was selected to complement with the monochrome modern luxe style. Just a change in upholstery decision from fabric to leather makes a great difference in syncing with the overall presentation of the dining room.
Special thanks to The Interior Lab for sharing with us more about the project and the images used in this article. We are pleasantly surprised at how Kay dining set can be incorporated alternatively in a monochrome modern luxe style home!
